December 2024 Remembering Neale Fraser, IC of Australia We are very sad to inform you that the legendary Australian player and Davis Cup coach, Neale Fraser AO MBE, has passed away in Melbourne, aged 91. Neale was a longtime supporter and member of IC Australia, encouraging Davis Cup players to join up and be part of our Club, attending the Annual lunch over many years and participating in various events. The Tennis Australia team has written a tribute to Neale, which can be found here. In recognition of his lifelong contribution to our sport, Neale was honoured with a state funeral, which took place at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne. RIP Neale; a champion on court, a terrific contributor to our game and a great friend and colleague to so many in the tennis world. Personally, and on behalf of the IC, sincere condolences and best wishes to Thea, Neale's family and loved ones.
