Sir Andy Murray

Sir Andy Murray

After a tremendous year of record breaking accomplishments, Andy Murray has become Britain's youngest Knight of modern times. At the age of 29, and already an OBE, he is the first tennis player to be knighted. He was honoured for his contribution to tennis, as well as for his charity work as an ambassador for; Unicef, Malaria No More, the World Wide Fund for Nature, and the Duke of Cambridge's United for Wildlife initiative.

It is an honour to have such a successful and inspirational person as an IC of GB Member, and we hope that his endeavours both on and off the court continue into 2017.
